Founded in Abidjan, the Société Nationale de Béton Précontraint — BEPCO — was born from a simple vision: to bring the most advanced structural techniques from the Western world to the African continent, adapted to local climatic, economic and logistical realities.
Post-tensioned prestressed concrete enables thinner slabs, longer spans and up to 40% material savings compared to traditional reinforced concrete. These advantages are decisive on a continent where construction costs weigh heavily on project profitability.
Today, BEPCO operates in 11 African countries on residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects, and trains the next generation of local engineers in post-tensioning mastery.
